Claude Reynolds is a Consultant with CENTRE Health Partners. Claude has 25 years experience in the healthcare industry working in hospitals and healthcare agencies in clinical and leadership roles. He has extensive background in nursing and hospital operations which include both senior management and department management level positions. Claude’s experience includes both the not-for-profit and for-profit entities.
Claude has focused experience in developing and applying corrective actions in distressed hospitals. He has a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and a dedicated focus on quality of care and patient satisfaction. He has a natural ability to build cohesion among teams by mentoring and developing the existing staff of an organization. Claude is a hands-on leader when needed, and is also comfortable with delegation and supervision in larger more complex roles.
Claude is an expert in the Quality and Resource Management areas. His experience includes assisting hospitals with preparation assessments for State and Federal surveys, and Joint Commission survey preparation. He has also prepared hospitals for HCFA Validation surveys. Claude has also assisted hospitals in setting up their Case and Resource Management departments, and also assisted those hospitals with underperforming departments that were in need or reorganizing their departments.
Claude began his career in the medical, surgical and cardiac intensive care departments where he progressively developed here career by accepting new challenges and added responsibilities. His career progression led to a Regional Director of Quality and Resource Management for a national hospital company where he was responsible for eleven hospitals.
Claude holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is also a member of the Case Management Society of America.
