Kathleen Hirsch is a Health Care Consultant with CENTRE Health Partners. Kathleen Hirsch has 30 years experience in the healthcare industry working in hospitals and healthcare agencies in clinical and leadership roles. She has extensive background in nursing and hospital operations which include both senior management and department management level positions. Ms. Hirsch’s experience includes both the not-for-profit, for-profit and government arenas.
Ms. Hirsch has focused experience in developing and applying corrective actions in distressed hospitals. She has a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and a dedicated focus on quality of care and patient satisfaction. She has a natural ability to build cohesion among teams by mentoring and developing the existing staff of an organization. Ms. Hirsch is a hands on leader when needed, and is also comfortable with delegation and supervision in larger more complex roles.
Ms. Hirsch has spent a great deal of her career in the field of emergency medicine as a clinical nurse as well as a director in departments ranging from 12,000 to 75,000 visits a year. She has had large successes in recruitment and retention activities as well an improvement in patient satisfaction. Her experience also includes clinical advisor for multiple emergency department redesign and construction projects.
Ms. Hirsch began her career as a critical care nurse and soon transferred to the emergency department where she progressively developed here career by accepting new challenges and added responsibilities. Her career progression led nursing and ancillary leadership roles on the executive level.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the State of New York, a MSN and an MBA from Wilmington College. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, a graduate honor’s fraternity.
