Mike Miller is a Partner with CENTRE Health Partners, LLC.  He has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry working with hospitals and hospital systems of various operating and ownership models.  He has an extensive background in hospital operations and financial management.  He is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer, at the corporate, regional and local levels.  Mr. Miller's experience includes both the not-for-profit and for-profit arenas, including leadership in a large publicly traded hospital corporation. 

Mr. Miller has focused expertise in assisting distressed hospitals move to a position of strategic, operational, and financial stability.  His operational expertise is in-depth in terms of running an efficient hospital in a fiscally responsible manner, with a strong adherence to clinical quality, patient satisfaction and physician partnering.  He has considerable talent in building functional senior management teams, coaching them to achieve targeted results, and recruiting candidates for an appropriate cultural and professional fit.
In working with boards and senior executives, Mr. Miller has led the development of several strategic plans for hospitals and healthcare systems.   As both a consultant and a senior executive, he has been involved with the assessment, facilitation, due diligence, and operational implementation of hospital and healthcare-related acquisitions, divestitures, and consolidations.     

As an experienced senior healthcare executive, particularly in bringing about operational strength and financial stability, Mr. Miller's approach most often includes physician strategy development and alignment initiatives, medical staff relations, and bridging the relationships between medical staffs and the local hospital. He is experienced in medical staff development plans and physician recruiting. 

Mr. Miller began his professional career in financial management. After obtaining the level of Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Miller was promoted to the Chief Executive Officer position of a small rural facility in Southeast Texas.  His career progression included more operational responsibility culminating in working for a large hospital corporation on the corporate level.  His consulting career spans across a broad spectrum: non-urban community hospitals, specialty hospitals, regional community hospital systems, large tertiary teaching hospitals, and international hospitals.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a MBA from the University of Dallas.  He is a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon, a graduate honor's fraternity.
